Dr. Michael A. Coe is a native son of North Carolina. After moving to New Jersey, he was led by the Spirit of God to serve under the pastorship of Bishop Jerome S. Wilcox as the Youth Department Pastor.
He founded Liberated Word Ministries, Inc. (Trenton, NJ) in November 1997. Pastor Coe believes in the power of education and holds an Associates degree of applied science in General Business from Mercer County Community College; a Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies from Cairn University; a New Jersey Teacher of Handicapped Certificate from Rutgers University; a Masters of Education from Gratz College; a Post-Masters degree in School Administration from The College of New Jersey; and a Doctorate of Divinity from Isaiah University. He is also a member of the Trenton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated where he is the Chaplain.
Dr. Coe has ministered the Word of God at conferences, church revivals, and has conducted seminars and workshops throughout the East Coast. He is an anointed praise and worship leader, spiritual leader, speaker, mentor, author and public school special education teacher.
His book "He looks Like Me" reiterates his dedication to education and impacting African American boys and boys of color through mentorship. Dr. Coe is committed to leadership through the church, community impact, and he enjoys time spent with his family.
